At CedarCreek school, we believe that every child is unique with learning needs different from others.Our goal is to prepare each child for life and to be a responsible member of the society. We give particular attention to positive relationships and the learning environment as we aim at the holistic development of every child.Our world today requires different set of skills to be relevant because of its rapidly changing nature, therefore we inculcate godly values in our pupils, equip them with 21st century skills like critical thinking skills and ability to have global perspective. Our pride is to watch them grow into confident, creative, innovative, excellent oriented scholars with capacity to solve global problems.
CedarCreek School started as a creche to help busy parents care for their children during the day in a comfortable environment filled with love and to provide a foundation for high standard and quality education for parents who want their children to have the best kind of education.
It is run by Omolola Oresanwo a passionate educationist and certified teacher with many years of experience with children. She is a graduate of computer science from University of Lagos and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the same Institution. She has a certificate in Best Practice in Early Year Foundation Programme from the college of Education, University of South Africa(UNISA). She also has a diploma in Montessori Education, and has been to several other trainings. She is an alumnus of Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of the Pan Atlantic University and Daystar Leadership Academy (DLA).
Just like many great institutions, the school took off on a humble note as a creche Monday 6th May in the proprietress’ 3 bedroom apartment at No 14, Solomon Durodola Street Unity Estate Egbeda Lagos. Although, it started with a single child and just 1 member of staff, the number of children grew to ten by the end of that year with the Playgroup class already in place. By January 2015, we had acquired an additional flat in the premises and the number of children increased. The Prenursery and Nursery classes had started fully by September 2016 with children joining from other schools.The staff strength also increased. At the graduation of the Nursery 2 pupils at the end of that session, we were gladly going to release the 2 pupils to another primary school since we had not started but the parents refused and requested that we start the Primary with their children the next session. That was how the Primary section started and the proprietress had to move out completely from the 1st apartment and an additional BQ was acquired to make room for the rapid growth.
During the summer of August 2019, God graciously gave a duplex just on the same street with the current building and we moved the entire Primary section out to the new annex. Ours has been a story of God’s help. Presently we operate a Crèche, Pre- school, Lower and Upper primary.
CedarCreek pupils have been strategically groomed as they move up gradually. Apart from academic activities, the children are involved in Co-curricular activities and relevant events that would help parents appreciate their children’s gifts. These activities are Cultural Day, International Day, Christmas Shows, Show and Tell, Inter-house Sports, Excursions etc.
The children have been able to stand out positively, and have featured in different external events and competitions in spelling bees, public speaking, creative writing competitions e.t.c. We keep striving for excellence, trusting that God will make them Godly Leaders.

A place where we are raising the next generation of godly leaders that will effect positive change in our society and globally. We are aware that choosing the right school for your child is one of the most crucial decisions you will have to make as a parent in order to give them the right foundation for lifelong learning.
We give particular attention to the holistic development of every child as we prepare them for life. Our aim is to provide quality education at all levels and ensure every child is giving an opportunity to maximize their potentials.
I am committed and seek to ensure no child is left behind; therefore my team and I are fully dedicated and we pay close attention to every aspect of their lives as they progress from one level to another.
Our blended curriculum, that is the Nigerian and British delivered with the Montessori style of teaching offers the children the opportunity to learn and practice different skills in the prime and specific areas which includes: Physical, Social, Emotional, Language, Science, Numeracy, Literacy and Christian Religious knowledge.
We also have co curricular activities like chess, swimming, ballet, STEAM, CODING e.t.c.
